📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their immigration journey • Provide proactive communication and exceptional service • Manage a high-volume portfolio of employment-based immigration matters • Coordinate document collection, case preparation, filing milestones, and stakeholder communications • Work with customers, employers, attorneys, and the internal paralegal team • Gather and organize information about immigration histories, employment situations, travel plans, and long-term goals • Support attorney-led case planning • Identify case issues, documentation gaps, travel considerations, and timing concerns • Escalate issues appropriately for legal review • Maintain accurate case records • Leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer outcomes • Contribute to process improvements and operational initiatives as Lighthouse scales

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an immigration case manager, senior paralegal, immigration specialist, or global mobility professional supporting employment-based immigration matters • Strong familiarity with employment-based immigration processes, including H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, L-1, PERM, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and Adjustment of Status • Experience managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service • Experience reviewing complex immigration records, gathering relevant information, and coordinating with attorneys to support case strategy and planning • Understanding of immigration process considerations related to travel, work authorization, status maintenance, and filing timelines • Ability to recognize when issues should be escalated for legal review • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities across dozens of concurrent matters • Comfort leveraging AI and technology to transform legal services and improve customer experiences • Preferred: experience supporting startup and venture-backed technology companies • Preferred: experience in a customer-facing immigration or global mobility role • Preferred: experience managing 75+ active employment-based immigration matters simultaneously • Preferred: experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced professional services environment
