📋 Description

• Adapt complex software interfaces and support documentation for native Wolof users • Localize global campaigns and brand voices for the Wolof-speaking market • Localize product and e-commerce copy, product listings, and UI listings • Apply regional naming logic and formatting standards • Uphold quality benchmarks and ensure content aligns with brand identity • Coordinate with production and quality leads on projects • Execute projects on schedule and within client specifications • Take a domain-specific test if required • Complete onboarding and payment setup after selection

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Wolof • A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely • Proven professional experience in translation and localization within marketing, UI/software, or e-commerce content • Experience with app or platform localization preferred • Submit an updated CV in English • Must reside in a location where contractors can be engaged; regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions are excluded • Responsible for own tax obligations as a 1099 contractor
