📋 Description

• Apply functional knowledge to identify, assess, report, and mitigate enterprise IT and Cyber risk • Collaborate with business and technology leadership and stakeholders to develop, recommend, and implement mitigation solutions • Support development of measures to monitor effectiveness and progress of risk mitigation approaches • Maintain knowledge of information security trends, threats, technologies, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and AI-related risks • Support departmental and enterprise initiatives, change management, team objectives, and continuous improvement • Perform information security risk management activities and assigned projects • Identify process improvements and communicate recommendations to management • Conduct information security risk assessments of third-party vendors by reviewing questionnaires, audit reports, control documentation, and supporting evidence • Evaluate assessment results and determine third-party information security risk profiles using established methodologies, policies, and industry standards • Develop recommendations for security gaps and support risk mitigation and remediation • Document assessments, findings, recommendations, and communications in governance, risk, and compliance platforms • Respond to requests about organizational information security practices with accurate, approved, professional information • Partner with business stakeholders, risk functions, and enterprise teams on assessments, remediation tracking, and risk management • Collect, maintain, and analyze assessment and risk management data for oversight, reporting, and decision-making • Prepare metrics, dashboards, reports, and presentations on assessment results, risk trends, remediation progress, and program performance • Identify trends, reporting opportunities, and data quality improvements • Analyze and synthesize information from questionnaires, audit reports, evidence, policies, standards, and stakeholder discussions to develop findings, recommendations, and reporting • Communicate messages, reports, and presentations to technical, business, and leadership audiences • Assist with information security standards, policies, procedures, and related documentation • Evaluate security considerations for third-party AI solutions • Learn emerging technologies, including AI, and improve team processes, reporting, and analysis capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) • 1 - 3+ Years of Information Security experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position • Ability to read, analyze and interpret internal and external documents, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail • Solid project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information • Ability to gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers and influence outcomes without directing or commanding • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Successful completion of regulatory and job training requirements • Agile Mindset; awareness/understanding of Agile methodologies (Preferred)
