• Remote position for the UK branch of a global consulting company • Hiring Business Development Team Lead and Business Development Specialist • Non-technical role focused on sales effectiveness and B2B sales in logistics and supply chain • Responsibilities include prospecting, relationship management, solution selling, pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration, market intelligence, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• This is a non-technical role that requires experience around sales, sale effectiveness and B2B sales • Exposure and understanding of logistics and supply chain • Prospect, qualify, and secure new customers by understanding customers supply chain needs and presenting tailored logistics solutions • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in target industries to drive sustainable business growth • Deliver engaging presentations and proposals, demonstrating how our client’s pooling, logistics, and sustainability services create value for their clients • Maintain an active sales pipeline, using CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and progress toward targets • Work cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met and exceeded • Monitor trends and developments in the logistics and supply chain sector to identify new opportunities and inform business strategy • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market feedback to line management • Evidence of experience in B2B sales: new revenue generation, customer acquisition & retention, pipeline & forecast accuracy
