• Establish a positive rapport and understand learners’ needs while actively engaging them • Deliver tutoring sessions • Complete electronic administrative documents within deadlines • Help federal public servants develop their French as a Second Language skills, particularly oral proficiency • Determine how to use instructional materials with learners
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • Excellent spoken and written French • Good spoken and written English • Strong proficiency with information and communication technologies, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams • Possession of a functioning computer with webcam/video capability • Professionalism, energy, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different types and levels of learners • Experience in tutoring or teaching is an asset • Knowledge of the exams and A, B, and C levels used by the Canadian federal public service is an asset
