• Ensure good public relations and a positive company image • Coordinate with property owners and utility customers • Make necessary contacts with utility customer representatives • Ensure projects stay on schedule • Ensure compliance with established safety policies and procedures • Work with Management to ensure work is mapped and planned accordingly • Ensure all necessary permissions are attained in a timely manner
• Self-motivated, punctual and reliable • Strong communication, customer service, time-management and organization skills • Preferred: experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the Android mobile platform • Experience with GIS or other computerized mapping software is a bonus but not required • Must pass a Winnipeg Police Service Reliability Screening • Current Class 5 or 5i driver's license required; Class 3 is an asset • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly and overtime as necessary • Must be able to travel up to 5 days at a time depending on work needs • Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent • Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions • Must be physically able to walk on uneven ground and carry 75 lbs • Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid and WHMIS Certifications • Must be able to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications as required • Successful completion of a post-offer physical and drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle abstract required
