📋 Description

• Support the North American SSP and Construction team • Lead project management and organization of retail shop fit-outs, including new construction, refits, refreshes, closures, and maintenance • Manage CapEx, prepare estimates, verify project actuals, and update CapEx forecasts • Plan and execute project schedules in collaboration with Retailers, SSP, Real Estate leasing, and Finance • Stay informed about global retail construction best practices and align working practices • Maintain and develop project status and CapEx reports • Help the retail team interpret construction information affecting the business • Provide hands-on assistance and installation during shop openings, refits, refreshes, and closures • Assess business needs and provide forward-looking insight • Streamline reporting processes for internal and external users • Provide project-specific assistance to Retailers, retail store teams, Shop and Space Planning, Property/Leasing, and Finance • Maintain knowledge of products, design methods, and merchandising to support sales and customer service • Partner with SSP designers to deliver retail projects • Deliver excellent customer service • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in retail construction and project management, including effective management of budgets focused in the US • Demonstrated experience in a project lead role • Strong budget analysis and management skills • Experience in phased construction projects in newly opened and existing retail stores • Practical hands-on experience managing the design and construction process • Knowledge of carpentry and millwork is an asset • Ability to develop relationships and leverage business partners • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities • Understanding of retail design and in-house skill sets • Ability to assist with and install company furniture and understand retail-space components • Ability to interpret M.E.P., architectural, and structural plans • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Flexibility to work extra hours as needed • Ability to work independently in a collaborative and creative environment • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with designers • Ability to adapt to change and take a holistic approach to the business • Strong self-management and ownership of responsibilities • Passion for company ethics and sustainability • Must be based in the United States • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; must hold a valid passport • Preferred: knowledge or expertise with Concur, CAD, and Google Suite • Preferred: PMP and LEED certifications
