📋 Description

• Manage payroll processing for employees in Germany, the UK, and Austria, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Act as the primary contact and point of contact for external payroll processing vendors and the Employer of Record team. • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legal requirements within each country, including German payroll laws. • Process employee data, salary adjustments, and deductions using various payroll systems and tools. • Verify payroll reports, investigate discrepancies, and implement necessary corrections. • Support onboarding and offboarding payroll activities, including final settlements and new employee setup. • Generate payroll reports and documentation for audits and internal review. • Collaborate with HR, finance, legal, and external teams to maintain data integrity and compliance. • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll, benefits, and related inquiries in German and English. • Ensure timely submission of payroll-related reports and payments to governmental authorities. • Assist in implementing process improvements and automation initiatives for payroll. • Maintain payroll records securely, adhering to data protection and confidentiality standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). • 3-4+ years’ experience working with payroll in an international environment, especially within Germany, the UK, and Austria. • Strong knowledge of German payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security contributions. • Proficient in payroll data processing tools and software. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and professionalism.
