📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers • Communicate professionally in written and verbal interactions • Demonstrate empathy and predict client needs through active listening • Review claims and handle files according to procedures, product requirements, privacy legislation, pension legislation, anti-money-laundering rules, and Canadian tax regulations • Document claim files accurately • Obtain complete file information • Update systems accurately to support reserve calculations

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual French and English required • Basic mathematical skills • High level of comfort navigating calls with grieving/emotional clients • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proficient verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact with customers, claimants, financial advisors, lawyers, and employees • Customer service orientation • Ability to respond constructively and decisively in high-pressure or emotional situations • Ability to thrive in a high-energy culture • Continuous improvement mindset • Strong organizational skills for multitasking and maintaining service standards • 1–2+ years’ experience in adjudicating claims, an asset • Working knowledge of processing and imaging systems, an asset • Knowledge of investment products, an asset • Working knowledge of government legislation, Insurance Act, and Quebec Civil Code, an asset • Basic knowledge of administrative systems (Mainframes, AWD, iFAST), an asset • Knowledge of developing professional letters
