📋 Description

• Serve as the face of Manulife Bank’s specialized lending team in an assigned territory • Promote and provide solutions support for specialized lending products and associated banking solutions in collaboration with Financial Advisors • Present complete transaction packages to underwriting • Contribute to regional/national business development through product, enhancement, and initiative presentations • Grow territory profitability through regular advisor contact and relationship expansion • Support financial advisors by working with centers of influence, professional advisors, and end clients • Demonstrate the value of integrating specialized lending with insurance and investment businesses • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness • Relay field feedback and ideas for improving products, services, and new product opportunities • Generate specialized lending and commercial mortgage opportunities and craft lending solutions for clients

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent consultative sales capability, including prospecting, fact-finding, presenting solutions, closing, and servicing • 10 or more years of business or commercial banking experience • Strong ability to read and assess corporate financial statements against bank policies • Highly organized and self-disciplined • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Seasoned presentation skills across various formats • Working knowledge of permanent life insurance • Aptitude for learning and utilizing technology for business purposes • Solid financial services and banking industry knowledge • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory • Ability to manage multiple tasks across diverse responsibilities and prioritize workflows • Experience coordinating bank initiatives across multiple distribution channels and working with advisors, professionals, and clients • Ability to assess the likelihood of bank participation in lending proposals after preliminary review and analysis • Experience working with Manulife Private Wealth, Retail, Insurance, and Securities partners • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required if the successful candidate is in Québec
