📋 Description

‱ Build a deep understanding of each business, including its commercial model, market positioning, customer journey, and growth drivers ‱ Develop meaningful visibility across the portfolio to identify opportunities, trends, and emerging challenges ‱ Evaluate performance indicators to support informed decision-making ‱ Assess growth performance across the portfolio and identify the underlying drivers of success or underperformance ‱ Challenge assumptions and provide objective recommendations based on evidence and commercial insight ‱ Support leaders in developing clear actions to improve results and accelerate growth ‱ Evaluate marketing, sales, and commercial functions to identify capability gaps and opportunities for improvement ‱ Assess leadership strength and determine where additional expertise or resources may be required ‱ Help ensure each business has the foundations in place for sustainable growth ‱ Support the identification, recruitment, and development of exceptional commercial talent across the portfolio ‱ Contribute to building stronger leadership capability within the ecosystem ‱ Help ensure the right people are in place to achieve long-term objectives ‱ Contribute to high-impact initiatives including AI, acquisitions, automation, analytics, and new ventures ‱ Support cross-functional projects that strengthen performance and create additional value across the portfolio ‱ Act as a trusted strategic adviser, providing constructive challenge, objective analysis, and clear recommendations ‱ Support leadership discussions through evidence-based insight and commercial perspective ‱ Encourage accountability while empowering leaders to retain ownership of execution

🎯 Requirements

‱ Proven experience growing businesses and improving commercial performance ‱ Strong strategic thinking combined with operational credibility ‱ Experience assessing marketing, sales, and commercial functions ‱ Ability to identify capability gaps and make informed recommendations ‱ Comfortable influencing senior leaders and challenging assumptions constructively ‱ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills ‱ Demonstrated ability to balance strategic oversight with practical execution ‱ Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to operate across multiple businesses and industries
