📋 Description

• Provide patient care, treatment, and services within scope of licensure and legal and regulatory standards • Assess patients and develop individualized, patient-centered care plans with interdisciplinary teams • Coordinate, direct, delegate, and provide care to multiple patients • Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed staff • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, data collection, documentation audits, and incident reporting • Promote patient safety and report safety concerns to leadership • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues • Maintain confidentiality and perform service recovery when needed • Integrate cultural and religious needs into care planning • Build effective relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary team members • Maintain clinical competency and meet regulatory and accreditation standards • Assist with staff selection, orientation, and mentoring • Serve as a preceptor for RN students and collaborate with educators • Follow payroll and chargeable-item policies • Identify cost savings and operational efficiency opportunities • Develop skills supporting strategic program growth, including Baclofen and Botox services • Promote teamwork, direct communication, and patient/family satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Must have an active WV RN license or active compact state license • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in home state • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses based on assignment needs • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association • Associate degree in Nursing required • Ability to travel nationwide for assignments • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, delegation, and leadership skills • Effective time management and organizational abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work under pressure, manage interruptions, and prioritize tasks effectively • Must work every other weekend and rotating holidays • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred • Certification as Registered Rehabilitation Nurse preferred • 2 years of previous RN experience in rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred • Must be competent with computer systems for documenting patient care • Ability to understand and follow department policies related to employee safety
