📋 Description

• Provide virtual care and support to adult members through 10-minute video consultations and asynchronous messaging • Counsel members on birth control and emergency contraception • Provide STI counseling, testing guidance, and prevention support • Provide pregnancy and contraception counseling • Support members with vaginal and urinary tract infections, including yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis • Address anxiety and depression, including postpartum mental health concerns • Provide menopause management and hormone therapy counseling • Document encounter summaries in Maven's MPractice practice management system • Collaborate with Maven's Care Delivery team to meet member needs, including recommending in-person referrals and follow-up care • Serve as an ambassador for Maven's care model through culturally humble, evidence-based care

🎯 Requirements

• Hold certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC designation) • Hold the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) • Be eligible for independent practice with the applicable Provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons • Currently reside in Canada • At least 3 years of experience delivering care through telehealth or virtual healthcare platforms • Comfortable providing care through a digital health platform and conducting virtual consultations • Ability to commit approximately 2 hours per week to direct member care in a part-time, independent contractor capacity • Passion for women's and family health • Fluency in French strongly preferred
