📋 Description

• Apply tape, compound, and finishing materials to drywall joints, corners, and fasteners • Prepare surfaces for painting and final finishes by sanding and smoothing drywall compound • Repair imperfections and ensure high-quality finishes that meet project specifications • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications • Maintain Maxan quality standards throughout all phases of finishing work • Work safely using ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms as required • Ensure personal and site safety is maintained at all times • Keep work areas clean and organized • Communicate effectively with General Superintendents, Foremen, and crew members • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Taper / Drywall Finisher in ICI construction • Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques, materials, and industry best practices • Experience with hand and power tools used in drywall finishing • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints • Valid Working at Heights certification • Valid Elevated Work Platform training certificate • Valid Powder Actuated Tools training certificate • WHMIS and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps • Reliable transportation to various job sites in the London area.
