📋 Description
• Own Microsoft Purview configuration and administration: Configure and manage capabilities such as sensitivity labels, retention, and DLP • Translate governance requirements into technical solutions: Develop scalable configurations aligned with privacy and compliance needs • Test, validate, and optimize controls: Troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent, reliable performance • Partner with IT and Security teams: Support implementation, changes, and ongoing improvements • Support audit readiness and governance reporting: Ensure controls are defensible and aligned with compliance requirements • Enable stakeholder understanding and adoption: Communicate how controls work and their impact in practice
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in information governance, data protection, security, or a related field • Previous experience supporting a Microsoft Purview implementation or rollout • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities • Experience translating business or governance requirements into technical configurations • Strong understanding of information governance principles (classification, retention, data protection) • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot configuration behavior • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts • Nice to have: Experience as a platform owner or lead administrator • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools • Experience supporting audit or compliance requirements • Relevant certifications • Bilingualism (English and French)
