📋 Description

• Define and influence IT solution strategies aligned with Medavie’s long-term business goals • Act as Infrastructure Applications Management Process Owner • Develop and maintain architecture designs, runbooks, policies, processes, procedures, and support documentation • Design, plan, and implement new infrastructure technologies and major system enhancements • Lead or contribute to complex solutions across on-premises and cloud environments • Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps and system lifecycle milestones • Collaborate with business units, IT architects, application teams, vendor management, and operations • Evaluate and manage release, deployment, and lifecycle management practices • Analyze availability, reliability, maintainability, and serviceability of services and systems • Present recommendations on new and emerging technologies to senior leadership • Promote standardization and automation to improve operational efficiency • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices • Mentor and coach team members as a technical role model and knowledge leader • Provide limited operational support and participate in an on-call rotation as needed

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field • 10+ years of experience in a relevant IT role • 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365/Entra ID, on-premises Microsoft Windows Server systems and email solutions (Exchange Server/Exchange Online, Proofpoint) • Strong understanding of infrastructure and development lifecycles • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating solutions on-premises and in the cloud • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 core services and PaaS offerings, enterprise hardware/software systems (Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere) and software engineering processes • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • English (Spoken and Written) required • Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) required • Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, and Credit Check required • Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years • Must hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status
