• Lead and develop Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers, and Clinical Specialists within the assigned district • Achieve district sales objectives while representing Medtronic • Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management, and professional development of the district sales team • Drive strategic sales initiatives and customer engagement activities • Promote and sell Medtronic Neurovascular products and services within assigned geographic areas and/or customer accounts • Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize customer benefits • Provide clinical and technical support during cases and inform clinicians of patient treatment options • Promote education about company products and services • Conduct and/or evaluate market research on customer and competitor activities • Develop and implement market development plans and strategies • Assess customer feedback on new or existing products and communicate it to R&D, Operations, and Marketing • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, and other departments to address business issues and opportunities • Cover a regional territory including Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Nashville, with approximately 50% driving time and occasional overnight travel
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience; or Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Preferred: 10+ years of Medical Device experience, including 5+ years of Neurovascular or Neurosurgery experience • Preferred: 3+ years of Sales Management experience • Experience leading teams in complex healthcare environments • Proven ability to influence business results, increase procedure adoption, and drive revenue growth • Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital setting, or emergency medical services environment • Advanced negotiation and/or presentation experience with external suppliers, customers, and vendors • Ability to present information clearly and effectively in front of large audiences • Strategic and analytical thinking • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Independently mobile and able to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers • Ability to lift 20 pounds • Ability to hear, see, and speak fluently • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Ability to sit and stand 8 hours per day • Ability to wear a lead apron for 2–3 hours on average • Ability to operate a moving vehicle • Ability to work in OR and/or hospital labs with radiation exposure • Ability to conduct company business outside the typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
