📋 Description

• Own day-to-day database operations for a large North American automotive enterprise customer • Operate and maintain RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases • Manage backup and recovery activities • Validate that backups can be restored • Execute disaster-recovery runbooks during critical events • Collaborate with OS/middleware, EKS, network/security, and CCoE architecture engineers • Handle escalations from the 24x7 monitoring team in Vietnam • Support the customer’s expansion from standard MSP to Advanced MSP with a Cloud Center of Excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Experience operating databases and backup/recovery in AWS environments • Experience with RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases • Ability to prove backups restore successfully • Ability to execute disaster-recovery runbooks • Ability to collaborate with OS/middleware, EKS, network/security, and CCoE architecture engineers • Ability to work with a 24x7 monitoring team and handle escalations • Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer • Must disclose whether employment visa sponsorship is currently or subsequently required
