📋 Description

• Author and review high-quality academic assessment content for an AI research initiative • Write and verify rigorous multiple-choice questions across economics and finance domains • Create original challenging questions and rate their difficulty • Review pre-written questions for accuracy, clarity, and rigor; edit where needed and document changes • Ensure questions are unambiguous, self-contained, and precisely defined • Provide 1 correct answer and 9 plausible but subtly incorrect alternatives • Write step-by-step solutions in markdown format • Supply 1–5 academic references per question from reputable sources • Flag and justify issues with clarity, completeness, precision, or solvability during verification

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or doctoral candidate in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field • Master's degree considered for candidates with exceptional depth in a specific subdomain • Strong command of graduate-level economic theory, quantitative methods, and financial modeling • Experience with academic research, CFA/CPA certification, or financial industry expertise is a strong plus • Excellent written English and ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely • Expected commitment of 10+ hours/week • Must work as an independent contractor • Mercor cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
