• Own the onboarding flow from the moment users hit our website until they pay and format a habit • Design effective and immersive software onboarding flows from scratch for web, email, and our software • Direct creative and engineering resources to make sure your plans are executed in time and at a high quality • Be able to flexibly jump from high-level visionary thinking to visual design to fun conversion copywriting and other disciplines all while delivering premium quality for all of them • Be a masterful conversion poet who knows what to say at what time to elicit the reaction you want • Balance business needs and UX needs by compromising as little as possible and maximally satisfying both • Measure the impact of your work through data-driven analytics and by directly talking with users and continually improve the effectiveness • Coordinate your plans with the marketing team to ensure strategy and campaign alignment • Increase conversion by maximally increasing perceived product value before purchase • Increase retention by always making sure users get the maximum value for their specific use-case • Ability to autonomously work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing your past onboarding work and the impact it had is required • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams is required • Experience with A/B testing and user research to optimize onboarding flows is required • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Posthog) for tracking onboarding metrics is required • Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Figma) is required
