📋 Description

• Partner with consultants and actuaries to manage large, complex Health & Group Benefits client relationships and projects • Provide senior-level consulting support on plan design, compliance, benefit strategy, and vendor selection and management • Lead marketing and vendor search processes for leave, disability, and group life programs • Support program implementations following vendor selection • Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective clients, internal resources, carriers, and vendors • Identify and participate in consulting service sales and cross-sell opportunities • Deliver marketing presentations to new prospects • Track activity, project results, and compliance with peer review standards • Establish strong working relationships with consultants across Milliman practices and carrier/vendor partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) • At least ten years of demonstrated success providing Health & Welfare consulting services • Hands-on experience in leave management, disability insurance, and group life insurance • Life and health producer license required • Thorough understanding of disability, leave management, and group life insurance coverages • Current knowledge of legislation, market trends, and Health & Welfare market issues • Strong knowledge of leave and disability legal and regulatory frameworks, including Paid Family and Medical Leave laws, FMLA, and ADAAA • Thorough understanding of marketing/vendor search processes and ability to manage the full process • Experience working with actuaries • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Effective time management and ability to prioritize and organize multiple complex projects • Strong problem-solving skills, including research and documentation • Ability to work with time-sensitive material and meet multiple deadlines • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Travel up to 25% may be required
