📋 Description

• Support manual and automated testing efforts to ensure stability, reliability, and quality of Lens Desktop • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework with Playwright • Translate acceptance criteria into Gherkin scenarios and implement BDD practices • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) • Manage and maintain test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) and ensure traceability • Conduct exploratory testing and risk-based analysis focusing on critical workflows • Validate new features, bug fixes, and regression areas through manual testing • Promote a quality-first culture, mentor team members, and optimize QA processes • Collaborate across Product, Development, and QA teams to improve user experience and stability

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation • Hands-on expertise in Playwright (mandatory) • Experience with similar automation tools such as Cypress or Selenium is a plus • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing maintainable automated test scripts • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Jest-Cucumber, SpecFlow) and Gherkin syntax • Proven track record of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions) • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative QA practices • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments is beneficial • Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus • Ability to work remotely within the EU or from Helsinki hub (location requirement)
