📋 Description

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of UPS, LV & MV power systems at client sites throughout the US • Require 70% travel and operate with a high degree of independence • Serve as the on-site technical expert, building client relationships while keeping critical power equipment running reliably • Leads jobs and manages field activities • Troubleshoot and repair breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, UPS, battery systems, and control panels • Conduct root cause analysis on complex electrical failures • Work with Modular Enclosures and Power Skid systems and perform field surveys • Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and timelines • Review electrical plans and designs to confirm technical accuracy and identify any potential discrepancies or risks to the project • Supervise onsite startup and/or commissioning of company-supplied equipment • Plan, conduct and document onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for company-supplied equipment • Ensure all installations meet applicable standards • Assist Logistics with timing of all equipment testing • Partner with Engineering, Production, and Sales teams on service estimates and parts recommendations • Mentor junior technicians as you develop leadership skills • Provide emergency support when critical systems go down (rotating on-call schedule)

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years working with UPS, generators, governors, regulators, MV/LV switchgear, or similar power equipment • Industry Background: Datacenters, power generation, utilities, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors • UPS & Power Distribution equipment • Tools: Proficient with multimeters, hand tools, wiring equipment, and soldering • Software: Comfortable with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting • Driver's License: Valid license with clean driving record (required for travel)
