📋 Description

• Prepare the Company’s quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS • Support quarterly and annual reporting processes and review significant accounting entries and adjustments • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial reporting across the organization • Lead the consolidated financial statement audit and manage the relationship with external auditors • Coordinate audit deliverables, review and participate in audit fee negotiations, and resolve audit and accounting matters • Serve as a technical accounting resource for complex and non-routine IFRS transactions • Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting and accounting policies • Oversee global statutory financial statements, audits and required filings across multiple jurisdictions • Manage the statutory audit calendar and coordinate with local finance teams, external auditors and service providers • Oversee the financial internal control environment, identify control gaps and support remediation • Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal and other functions on significant transactions and restructurings • Support acquisitions, integrations, legal entity restructurings and strategic initiatives from an accounting and reporting perspective • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of reporting, audit and finance processes • Lead, coach and develop a small team • Promote a collaborative, high-performance team environment • Support ad hoc projects and transactions as required

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, ACA, or ACCA) • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience • Preferably experience in a large multinational organization and/or public accounting • Strong knowledge of IFRS • Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and related disclosures • Strong technical accounting research and documentation skills • Experience managing external audits and global statutory reporting requirements • Experience working across multiple legal entities, jurisdictions and finance teams • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders • Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching, developing and managing direct reports in a finance or accounting environment • Experience with SAP, BlackLine and financial consolidation/reporting systems is an asset
