📋 Description

• Support accounts payable, including vendor onboarding, invoice review, payment processing, and AP reconciliation • Manage state sales tax filings accurately and on time • Coordinate sales tax registrations as the company expands into new jurisdictions • Support broader tax compliance by gathering and organizing information for external CPA and tax advisors • Assist with monthly close, including account reconciliations, amortization, and accruals • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows as the company scales • Become a trusted owner of key accounting processes and help build scalable accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience • At least 2 years of experience at a high-growth company • Strong accounting background and understanding of core accounting principles • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Self-starter comfortable taking ownership and working independently • Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams • Experience working at a technology startup (preferred) • Experience with tax compliance (preferred) • Experience helping build or improve accounting processes in a rapidly scaling organization (preferred) • CPA (preferred) • Fluent in Mandarin (preferred)
