📋 Description

• Manage a statewide, high-volume bankruptcy caseload from start to finish • Prepare and file motions, pleadings, Proofs of Claim, Payment Change Notices, and other legal documents • Conduct Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and draft plan objections when necessary • Attend virtual and in-person court hearings • Liaise with the firm, clients, courts, trustees, and outside counsel • Handle time-sensitive escalations • Maintain accurate client system updates

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required • Active Florida Bar Membership in good standing required • Three (3+) years of bankruptcy experience preferred but not required • Experience with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and plan confirmation preferred • Comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven environments • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to travel as needed for hearings and court appearances • Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality • Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation is a bonus • Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, or TILA is a bonus • Background in foreclosure law is a bonus • Must complete pre-employment screening • Must be eligible to work in the United States • May be subject to reference checks
