📋 Description

• Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems • Travel to customer sites to start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Data Center equipment • Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property • Respond promptly to customer and management service requests • Provide customer training on Munters equipment • Submit detailed field service reports and technical feedback on equipment • Manage projects onsite during startup commissioning and coordinate other trades and services • Provide immediate-response support as part of the Field Service team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the mechanical field, specifically HVAC • Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% across the USA by plane and car • Extensive knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and ability to diagnose electrical issues and record data • Knowledge and training in safety procedures, Arc Flash, lockout/tagout, and other safety requirements • Ability to use PPE associated with electrical safety • Extensive refrigeration knowledge, including pressure testing, evacuation, and charging systems independently • Ability to fully troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration problems • Proficiency in brazing and soldering • Holds a universal refrigeration card • Extensive controls knowledge, including troubleshooting, programming, or downloading to control systems • Understanding of PLCs and ability to work with all types of platforms, access PLC information, adjust settings, and connect via computer to make changes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Ability to communicate with site personnel, Sales PM, Service Manager, and Technical Support personnel • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 75 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift • Close visual acuity for data analysis, computer terminals, and extensive reading • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment • Ability to be away from home for several days at a time • Willingness to take on-call duties • Willingness to occasionally work weekends and holidays • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Willingness and ability to work six feet or more above ground • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable • State Licensed Master HVAC mechanic is optional
