📋 Description

• Execute satellite operation procedures for simultaneous missions and an increasing mission manifest • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to execute satellite operation plans and maintain continuity of satellite services • Analyze telemetry data and satellite health reports to assess system performance and identify potential issues • Implement preventive measures and corrective actions • Troubleshoot and resolve anomalies and system malfunctions to restore satellite functionality • Plan and coordinate satellite maneuvers, including orbit corrections and station-keeping • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new satellites into the fleet • Support the transition of satellites from launch to operational phase • Design and implement automation solutions for monitoring and maintaining satellite health and safety on orbit

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience • 4+ years of project or industry experience operating or automating complex systems • Experience with Python, Julia, or another high-level scripting language • Strong communication and teamwork abilities • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure • Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively • Experience with automating complex systems • Operations experience with spacecraft, ground stations, or other complex communication systems • Strong understanding of satellite subsystems, including power, propulsion, communication, and payload • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in satellite operations, including ITU and FCC regulations • Must satisfy U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements: be a U.S. person, eligible without export authorization, or eligible and reasonably likely to obtain required export authorization
