📋 Description

• Lead the corporate and practice accounting organization, including developing, coaching, and managing accounting leaders and staff • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidation processes • Ensure financial statements and accounting records comply with U.S. GAAP and company policies • Provide accurate financial information to external tax preparers and advisors for tax returns and partner K-1s • Oversee healthcare practice accounting, including patient service revenue, accounts receivable, reserves, cash-to-accrual adjustments, expenses, payroll, provider compensation accruals, and balance sheet accounts • Oversee corporate accounting for fixed assets, ASC 842 leases, debt, equity, intercompany transactions, contingencies, accruals, and complex accounting areas • Oversee Accounts Payable and optimize Coupa P2P automation and internal-control adherence • Lead acquisition and integration accounting, including ASC 805 purchase accounting and acquired-entity integration • Own multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting, including eliminations and reconciliations • Serve as primary accounting owner of NetSuite and govern ERP configuration, reporting, workflows, integrations, and scalable processes • Establish and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, approval controls, reconciliations, segregation of duties, and financial reporting controls • Lead the annual external financial statement audit • Research complex accounting matters and new standards; prepare or review technical accounting memoranda • Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on actual results, financial movements, management reporting, and Board reporting • Partner with Treasury, Revenue Cycle, Payroll, Human Resources, Legal, Operations, and other functions to improve financial processes • Develop accounting talent, succession plans, standardized procedures, and a scalable organizational structure • Perform additional accounting, reporting, systems, and strategic finance responsibilities assigned by the CFO

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience • At least 5 years in a Controller, Corporate Controller, VP of Accounting, or comparable accounting leadership role • Significant healthcare accounting and finance experience • Experience leading accounting for a complex, multi-entity and multi-location privately held company • Hands-on NetSuite experience, including multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, financial reporting, dimensions, workflows, and system/process optimization • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting, including ASC 805, ASC 842, revenue recognition, debt and equity, and complex accounting matters • Experience leading external financial statement audits and managing external auditors and professional service providers • Experience building and leading high-performing accounting teams • Strong process improvement, internal controls, systems implementation, and finance transformation experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation capabilities • Ability to operate across a decentralized organization and partner with corporate leaders and field/practice operations
