📋 Description

• Assist in processing all inbound specialty prescriptions from referring prescribers • Initiate prescription prior authorizations on behalf of prescriber’s offices • Coordinate and confirm patients’ prescription deliveries • Initiate contact and create new potential clinic/prescriber relationships • Communicate prescription, insurance, and financial needs to pharmacists, providers, clinical support staff, and patients • Interact with clinic employees, third-party payers, manufacturers, prescription benefit management companies, external pharmacy personnel, and referring providers and support staff • Act in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and highest ethical standards • Serve as liaison between medical staff, outpatient pharmacies, insurance providers, and patients to improve communication and continuity of care • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Some college preferred • Certified CPhT or licensed Medical Assistant preferred • One year experience in specialty pharmacy or medical office preferred • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
