📋 Description

• Build and scale infrastructure for large 2D and 3D media datasets • Train machine learning models on large multimodal datasets • Serve as the backbone of the machine learning lifecycle • Automate, reproduce, and optimize data and training pipelines at scale • Work with ML and Annotation engineers and technical program managers to define infrastructure and training requirements • Design and maintain CI/CD and continuous training pipelines for complex multimodal models • Implement versioning and storage strategies for massive 2D/3D datasets • Deploy and manage monitoring systems for model performance and data drift in production • External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview at an NBCUniversal location before a hiring decision

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience as an MLOps Engineer in applied machine learning in a fast-paced environment • Fluency with Python, Git, and the Unix shell • Deep familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestrators such as Airflow, Prefect, or Kubeflow • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Slack, and a Git server • Strong mathematical background preferred for understanding resource demands of 3D data transformations • High attention to detail regarding system reliability and data security • Ability to translate abstract ML requirements into concrete, scalable cloud or on-premises infrastructure • Prior experience in complex multidisciplinary industries such as robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada • Must be willing to travel for work-related business if necessary • Interested candidates must apply to be considered
