📋 Description

• Create engaging educational videos from storyboard through finished product • Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create art, graphics, and animations • Review WYSIWYG and HTML content in Nelson’s Edwin Content Studio for quality assurance • Follow style guides and maintain consistency in design and messaging • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to gather requirements • Apply accessibility, web compatibility, rights and permissions, and file preparation guidelines • Ensure content meets accessibility best practices, including heading levels, color contrast, and alt text • Use project management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and meet deadlines • Maintain organized files, work assignments, and digital assets • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, incorporate feedback, and iterate content • Troubleshoot production issues • Support and maintain products after launch • Help plan, create, and produce content for Nelson’s digital education platform within a Scrum team

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced bilingual Digital Content Developer • Licensed access to Adobe Creative Cloud • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience • Proven experience in HTML and WYSIWYG quality assurance reviewing • Experience in Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Knowledge of UI and web design principles • Knowledge of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.0 • Experience implementing digital content • Familiarity with MathML, Jira, and project management tools is a plus • Strong creative and design skills with attention to aesthetic and visual details • Excellent organizational skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Proficient time management skills and ability to work independently and in a team • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent English spelling, grammar, and communication skills • Bilingual in English and French
