• Develop and implement long-term category sourcing strategies • Minimize risk and financial exposure while maintaining sourcing flexibility • Optimize sourcing, supplier selection, pricing, and commercial agreements • Develop a continuous improvement project pipeline to deliver year-over-year productivity • Track savings in partnership with Finance • Manage supplier performance and lead regular supplier performance reviews with functional partners • Develop supplier improvement plans as required • Create sustainable sourcing activities, including greenhouse gas reduction and upstream supply-chain traceability • Support new product and new technology launches • Leverage supplier partnerships to secure innovative ingredients and technologies • Support tail-spend management and related processes using digital, automated, and AI platforms • Manage budgets and monthly price-forecast review processes using relevant tools, cost modeling, and market knowledge • Oversee approximately $180 million in spend across diverse materials and suppliers • Report to Nestlé/Nutrition & Health
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • MBA desirable but not required • 7+ years' experience in Procurement, Category Management, or related function • Experience interfacing with manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization • Proven experience developing and executing strategies and delivering innovative business solutions that drive results • Strong category expertise in direct raw materials, ideally within food, pharmaceutical, chemical, nutraceutical, or consumer health industries • Strategic mindset and agility in fast-changing, ambiguous environments • Familiarity leveraging AI-based platforms and tools • Ability to work within ambiguity • Leadership, trust-building, emotional intelligence, and visionary thinking • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems • High learning agility, critical thinking, and strong business acumen • Excellent project management skills • Proven analytical skills, including data analysis and business processes • Customer-service orientation • Strong storytelling skills • Broad supply chain experience, such as planning and logistics • Technical expertise and ability to work effectively with Tech Service and R&D stakeholders • Ability to adapt to a matrix organization • Foundational finance knowledge, including P&L analysis, budgeting, and cash flow
