📋 Description

• Lead procurement strategy for key packaging categories supporting Nestlé Health Science U.S. • Manage an approximately $50M to $70M packaging spend portfolio • Develop and execute long-term category strategies and yearly sourcing plans • Develop and manage a continuous improvement pipeline and track savings with Finance • Conduct market research and maintain category strategies • Optimize sourcing, supplier selection, pricing, contracting, and commercialization • Negotiate and implement supplier agreements • Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement plans • Establish proactive risk management and resolve supply issues with Supply Planning • Liaise with commercial teams on business and brand needs, industry trends, and opportunities • Support new product, technology, initiative launches, and transformation projects • Maintain accurate Procurement data in ERP • Manage the monthly price forecast review process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field preferred • Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • 5+ years of knowledge of packaging categories including corrugate, folding cartons, labels, flexible packaging, rigid containers, closures, and related materials preferred • Strong experience in packaging materials procurement, preferably in food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, consumer goods, or related manufacturing industries • Broad Procurement background supporting manufacturing, commercial, or corporate functions • Experience with increasing responsibility in procurement and the relevant subject matter area preferred • Ability to work and communicate effectively at all organizational levels and functions • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex business challenges • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management • Project management and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and process improvement • Ability to influence and collaborate across the organization • Written, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred • Supply chain experience, including planning and logistics, preferred • Ability to partner with technical stakeholders and understand technical requirements • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization • Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts • Financial acumen including P&L analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management • Position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
