📋 Description

• Qualify customer opportunities, requirements, and potential solution fit for NetApp offerings in Google Cloud. • Design software, Cloud, and professional services solutions. • Run technical workshops to demonstrate solutions. • Present solution-selling content at customer and partner briefings, Google and NetApp sales meetings, and corporate events. • Design and run proofs-of-concept within customer environments. • Hand over new customer wins to Customer Success and/or Professional Services. • Participate in or host industry meet-ups and user groups. • Publish reference architectures, significant wins, and best practices internally and externally. • Maintain customer opportunity status in Salesforce. • Stay abreast of public cloud service developments. • Acquire and maintain technical expertise. • Develop or enhance processes and techniques used by Sales and Technical teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Desire Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of related field experience. • Any Google Cloud certifications are a plus. • Strong technical knowledge of Cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Google Cloud. • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred. • Passion for solving customer business challenges with Cloud technology solutions. • Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts and practical competency applying AI-enabled tools and capabilities. • Motivated, results-oriented individual able to achieve customer success without close supervision. • Experience working with customers within the as a Service space. • Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects concurrently. • Appetite to learn and adapt to changing requirements and technology. • Experience running proofs-of-concept for software, hardware, or Cloud-based solutions in a pre-sales role. • Experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) concepts. • Understanding of how application workloads such as SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, VMware, and self-managed databases use file and block storage in a Cloud environment. • Familiarity with container orchestration runtime concepts and solutions, preferably Kubernetes, is a plus. • On-premises infrastructure and workload experience and data migration methodologies are a plus. • Willingness to travel within the assigned geography to customer locations, and occasionally further. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong English language skills; French is a plus.
