📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design for platform applications such as Analytics, Visual Explorer, Validation, and AI-driven workflows • Design how applications interact with each other, NetBox, and observability products • Turn complex data sets, visualizations, and workflows into clear, usable interfaces for network engineers and architects • Plan and run qualitative and quantitative user research • Bring customer insight to product and engineering teams • Rapidly prototype ideas using AI tools, code, or Figma • Share work early, invite critique, and keep stakeholders aligned • Contribute to the Figma design system and partner with frontend engineers on the Storybook component library • Shape the design team’s use of AI • Improve the use of product analytics in design decisions • Help define the platform’s long-term vision beyond the immediate product area

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including enterprise-grade B2B software • Experience designing for technical users, such as network, DevOps, security, or infrastructure engineers • Track record of taking products from MVP to GA, including shaping the first release and carrying the design through to a launch-ready product • Comfort with complex data sets, data visualization, and multi-step workflows • Strong visual design and interaction design skills, shown in a portfolio • Hands-on experience planning and running user research, and acting on findings • Active, effective use of AI in design work, with examples of process changes • Prototyping skills using AI tools, code, or Figma • Experience working on a design team inside a scale-up, alongside other designers • Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a habit of designing in the open • Experience improving how a team works, not just what it ships • Able to work with significant overlap with US Eastern and UK hours • Nice to have: experience designing observability, monitoring, or compliance products • Nice to have: experience with network management or infrastructure software • Nice to have: experience using product analytics tools such as PostHog • Nice to have: familiarity with design systems built in Figma and Storybook
