📋 Description

• Define and evolve internal CLIs and SDKs for browser, backend, and library JavaScript software • Partner with JavaScript software teams to create cleaner, more independent platform interfaces • Own the core application development platform, CI/CD workflows, supporting services, and libraries • Improve platform observability and performance while protecting business-critical infrastructure • Drive the monorepo and local development experience across software categories • Own infrastructure and deployment integrations with Netflix’s broader deployment ecosystem • Support JavaScript developers and elevate their daily software-building and shipping experience • Provide technical design and code feedback that raises engineering quality across the team

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and operating CI/CD and release systems at real scale, including build pipelines, caching and incremental builds, artifact management, and deploy safety • Experience supporting engineers who build on a platform and improving developer tooling ergonomics • Ability to define and evolve interfaces, including internal CLIs and SDKs • Ability to partner across teams, align on shared interfaces, negotiate boundaries, and unblock work • Ability to design for extensibility while balancing practicality • Ability to balance immediate customer support needs with longer-term technical debt reduction and feature delivery • Record of turning technical ambiguity into clear requirements • Rigor in validating changes to shared infrastructure before release • Ability to raise engineering quality through patterns, interfaces, design feedback, and code feedback • Experience with JavaScript software, application development platforms, CI/CD workflows, infrastructure, deployment integrations, monorepos, local development tooling, observability, and performance optimization
