📋 Description

• Effectively manage multiple departmental relationships across a highly matrixed organization within a large, international insurance group. • Create and monitor Claim’s Budget in partnership with finance. • Partner with critical team members and cross-functional business partners (Product, Engineering, Information Systems) as the primary driver of technology adoption and improvement within the claims organization. • Work with internal team members and cross-functional partners in our Data Science group to source data delivery to the Claim’s Org for a variety of use cases and lead Claim’s content creation for key stakeholders. • Manage vendor portfolio for third-party vendors spanning everything from FNOL to engineering services. Build effective relationships, drive exceptional outcomes, and deliver against cost goals in this space. • Work closely with internal Compliance, Legal, and Risk Management teams to enable consistent execution against everything from SOX controls to third-party audit execution on behalf of major capital providers. Enable our internal quality audit team to continue to uplevel our collective work product through effective evaluation. • Coordinate critical Claim’s communication, both internal and external, such as Claims All Hands, technology, vendor rollouts, and overall to the balance of the NEXT enterprise.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA Degree required • 10+ years of experience in the Claims Operations space, with 5+ years leading others • Strong written and oral communication skills required, as well as strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills • Data-driven orientation with the ability to use insights to recognize themes and drive strong business results • Track record of effectively solving unique and challenging business problems • Experience leading multiple distributed teams, preferably within a fully remote or hybrid environment • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business results • Team orientation that emphasizes building strong working relationships and contributing to a positive work environment • High degree of comfort with navigating ambiguous environments; willingness to dive in and assist coworkers with workloads or contribute to novel organizational needs/projects when needed • Relentless focus on continuous improvement and very receptive to continually leverage new Claim’s technology tools, including both proprietary and off-the-shelf software systems • Some travel capability, up to 15% of capability • All other duties as assigned*
