• **Responsibilities and Duties:** • - Record daily transactions in Xero and QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) • - Perform basic reconciliations for bank, credit card, and loan accounts • - Assist with preparing and posting journal entries under guidance from senior staff • - Help compile month-end reports and ensure completeness of client data • - Support AP/AR workflows (bill entry, coding, payment file prep, collections tracking) • - Maintain organized workpapers and documentation for review • - Research and resolve data issues or uncategorized transactions • - Communicate professionally with clients regarding requests and open items • - Help identify small process improvements and automation opportunities
• **Skills and Qualifications:** • - 3–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (public practice, BPO, or industry) • - Working knowledge of accrual accounting • - Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots, data validation) • - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills • - Clear written and verbal communication • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA track a plus)
