📋 Description

• Design end-to-end experiences, including journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs • Plan and conduct internal usability testing and external validation with partners and merchants • Build and maintain design systems across NMI’s products • Benchmark designs against competitors and identify opportunities for improvement • Use AI tools such as v0, Cursor, and Figma AI to accelerate prototyping, synthesize research, and explore design variations • Contribute to customer-engagement materials, conference planning, and special projects for Payment Gateway products • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate user insights into scalable design solutions • Lead greenfield and redesign efforts for technical B2B workflows and Payment Gateway products

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing B2B digital products and systems • Strong portfolio demonstrating design process, breadth of work, and impact • Familiarity with financial products, APIs, or transaction systems, ideally payment gateways or similar B2B SaaS platforms • Proven cross-functional collaboration and ability to present design decisions and processes clearly • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills • Ability to simplify complex technical and payment concepts into intuitive user experiences • Proficiency in Figma and experience building and maintaining design systems • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and their applications, including regulated payment workflows • Required hands-on experience using AI tools such as v0, Cursor, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar for design, prototyping, or research • Experience conducting user research and usability testing and translating findings into actionable designs • Online portfolio link, example of AI-tool use in a recent project, CV, LinkedIn profile, and explanation of interest in NMI • Satisfactory background and financial checks required for employment • Legal right to be employed in the United States where applicable
