📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale backend data services and APIs supporting high-throughput, low-latency workloads • Architect and evolve microservices, including service boundaries, communication patterns, and failure isolation • Design distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and reliability across multiple regions • Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL and Oracle relational database systems, schemas, indexing strategies, and high-availability setups • Build and maintain high-volume, high-velocity data pipelines while owning services end-to-end • Diagnose and resolve complex performance, scalability, and reliability issues • Mentor engineers on system design • Clarify requirements and drive execution • Ensure alignment with DBA and SRE partners while providing hands-on technical development

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or its equivalent • Experience in Python, Java, or Go • Ability to write production-grade, maintainable backend code • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases • Experience with schema design, query optimization, and high-availability configurations • Experience designing, building, and scaling microservices architectures in production environments • Knowledge of DBA tasks • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, containerization, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and major cloud platforms
