📋 Description

• Design scalable, collaborative, and social online learning experiences used by Fortune 500 companies, universities, and training organizations • Own 1-2 major projects at any time as the design lead, shaping solutions from initial problem exploration through final implementation • Partner with product management to frame problems, define project scope, explore design approaches, and make recommendations • Provide production-ready mocks and assets and collaborate with engineers to balance quality and feasibility • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and understand user goals • Align stakeholders, propose solutions, and adjust scope when challenges arise • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing products that have been used by end users and clients at scale • Proven track record of solving complex real-world problems with strategic thinking and elegant, user-centered solutions • Proficiency with wireframing, user flows, high-fidelity mocks, prototyping, user interviews, and usability testing • Expert-level skills with Figma, including advanced features like components and design libraries • Experience maintaining visual and interaction consistency by working within established design systems and contributing to their evolution • Strong visual design foundation with attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles • Experience designing responsive Web/Mobile experiences • Understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints • Experience designing AI-powered features that enhance user workflows and personalize experiences is a plus • Familiarity with GenAI tools to accelerate workflows is a plus • Ability to independently own projects from problem definition through execution • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive decisions without constant guidance • Comfort navigating ambiguity during early exploration phases and synthesizing unclear requirements into actionable design directions • Ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional partners, including PMs and engineers • Ability to present complex ideas clearly and lead productive discussions • Ability to remain flexible when new information or priorities emerge • Ability to balance data-driven decisions with cognitive empathy
