• Join the growing team at NRSI, providing expertise in tree and forest inventories • Regularly contribute to both field- and office-based tasks • Participate in multi-day field surveys in various environmental conditions
• Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture OR a Registered Professional Forester with the Ontario Professional Foresters Association (Full Member) • Experienced in completing tree and forest inventories & health assessments in rural and/or urban settings • Proficient in the identification of trees found in rural and urban Ontario • Willing & able to travel for regular multi-day field surveys • Valid driver’s license & personal vehicle • Standard First Aid and CPR certification • Demonstrated experience in preparing Arborist Reports and Tree Preservation Plans • A desire and demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work • Committed to continual improvement of technical abilities
