📋 Description

• Develop core functionality for autonomous driving across all geographies using fusion of state-of-the-art perception DNN and map signals • Generate real-time 3D world models for planning from sensors and external sources • Enable HD mapless driving in complex urban scenarios through enriched BEV models • Enable L3 autonomy in highway scenarios using camera, lidar, radar perception, and map signals • Build fused static obstacles, occupancy grids, and occlusion masks • Provide technical leadership and hands-on collaboration on challenging autonomous-vehicle problems • Mentor engineers within the team • Validate algorithms on large real and synthetic datasets across diverse environments and conditions • Produce code and designs following automotive quality and safety standards

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years in the AV or robotics industry • 2+ years of experience technically leading areas • Passion for robotics and autonomous vehicles • Drive to learn new things and tackle meaningful problems • Outstanding communication and cross-team collaboration, especially with multinational teams across the globe • Independent and analytical software engineering skills • Software development experience on embedded or automotive platforms • Background in 3D computational geometry, computer vision, sensor fusion, localization, mapping, trajectory optimization, or state estimation algorithms such as Kalman filters and particle filters • Significant industry experience in the AV area, especially self-driving cars • Experience developing real-time computer vision systems • Strong API and framework design skills
