📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Foundation’s fundraising program for the Pacific Northwest and Northern California • Build relationships and cultivate/solicit six- and seven-figure gifts • Expand the prospect pipeline within and beyond the stated regions • Create and lead strategy for a portfolio of annual and major gift prospects • Manage a portfolio of 100+ six- and seven-figure prospects • Develop customized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans • Build and manage prospect and donor relationships through visits, correspondence, and regular communication • Identify new prospects and design and execute donor engagement opportunities • Design and execute events for diverse audiences with the Events team • Partner with local board members, alumni, regional connectors, and volunteers on fundraising efforts • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on select high-capacity donors • Propose and plan development travel for principals and surrogates • Collaborate with regional fundraisers and share best practices • Represent the Development team at conferences and gatherings • Advance a culture of philanthropy across the Foundation • Build Salesforce utilization to track and evaluate key metrics • Use data to improve practices and inform decisions • Ensure timely creation and distribution of fundraising and stewardship materials, collateral, briefings, and personalized proposals • Meet fundraising targets and key metrics • Help lead and execute regional development events • Propose, plan, and staff Foundation executive travel to the region • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 8 - 10 years of experience in fundraising for complex and evolving organizations • Preference for regional knowledge of Seattle, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and other emerging markets such as Texas or Colorado • Track record of building relationships with major donors, ideally closing gifts of at least $1M+ • Deep understanding of fundraising programs and high-level gift strategies • Ability to develop and maintain long-term, productive relationships internally and externally
