📋 Description

• Serve as the client-side senior authority on SAP data migration and technical peer to the System Integrator’s data lead • Review and challenge the System Integrator’s data migration approach and advise on migration architecture and tooling decisions • Coordinate day-to-day execution of the client-side data workstream across all domains • Maintain the migration task plan, track deliverables, flag slippage, and drive resolution • Run working sessions with client data owners and the integrator team; track actions, decisions, and deliverables • Set and monitor data-cleansing standards and coordinate cleansing schedules • Identify data-quality risks, including missing legacy concepts, transformation data loss, and cross-domain dependencies • Organize and track mock load cycles, independently review reconciliation results, and ensure validation findings are actioned • Ensure compliance with data-classification policies and applicable regulatory requirements throughout migration • Maintain the cutover plan and coordinate extraction and load scheduling • Prepare data-readiness inputs for go/no-go decisions and provide independent risk assessment to program leadership • Support hypercare for data-related issues after go-live • Support migration status reporting and RAID logging

🎯 Requirements

• MS degree • 20+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration workstreams • At least 4 full-lifecycle S/4HANA programs delivered end-to-end, with greenfield experience preferred • Experience running the data workstream inside a major System Integrator on large, complex programs, followed by client-side advisory work • Deep hands-on experience migrating from non-SAP sources into SAP • Enterprise migration experience across Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP, WM), HR/HCM, Plant Maintenance/EAM, and Master Data • Working expertise across multiple migration toolsets • Ability to engage System Integrator leadership as a technical peer and manage escalation and delivery judgment • Hands-on advisory experience running working sessions, tracking actions, and maintaining plans • Deep understanding of S/4HANA data models, business partner concept, universal journal, material ledger, and legacy ERP structural changes • Strong grounding in ETL design, staging strategies, reconciliation, cutover sequencing, fallback planning, and hypercare data support • Regulated-industry experience with hands-on exposure to HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, FedRAMP, or comparable frameworks • Ability to translate compliance requirements into data migration controls • Excellent written and verbal communication • Prior Oracle EBS source-system experience preferred • Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud preferred • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms preferred • SAP certifications preferred • Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or government preferred • US citizenship required
