📋 Description

• Identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate them based on strategic criteria • Build deal flow through direct outreach, brokers, networks, and the customer and agency partner ecosystem • Maintain a structured acquisition pipeline • Engage directly with owners and management teams of potential target companies • Prepare company valuations, including using DCF and multiples-based methods, as well as business cases • Support commercial, legal, and tax due diligence in coordination with the CEO, Finance team, and external advisors • Prepare and support negotiations of term sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements together with the CEO • Support transactions from origination through signing and closing • Support integration planning following acquisitions • Develop a reusable post-merger integration playbook

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, or strategy consulting • University degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable field • Strong knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling • Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, net revenue retention, churn, and CAC • Experience with buy-and-build models or software deals is a strong plus • Experience conducting or supporting due diligence processes • Confident negotiating style and excellent communication skills when working with managing directors and owners • Independent, structured working style with a high degree of initiative • Ideally, an established network in the software, hosting, or agency sectors—or the ability to build one quickly • Excellent German and English skills
