📋 Description

• Proactively identify RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, bids, solicitations, and other procurement opportunities from state and local governments, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations • Manage assigned SLED solicitations from intake through final submission • Build and maintain response schedules, compliance matrices, and review cycles • Review procurement documents for requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, forms, certifications, and submission instructions • Draft, edit, and tailor proposal responses for public-sector audiences • Translate Onit's product, technical, security, implementation, and support capabilities into compelling responses • Maintain approved proposal content, public-sector boilerplate, customer references, certifications, security responses, and supporting documentation • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to keep proposal content accurate and current • Support bid/no-bid analysis by summarizing requirements, timelines, risks, and resource needs • Track amendments, bidder questions, pre-bid conferences, addenda, upcoming procurements, renewals, and contract expirations • Coordinate internal contributors across Sales, Legal, Security, Product, Finance, Professional Services, and Customer Success • Partner with SLED Account Executives to align opportunities with target accounts, territories, and strategic priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in RFP management, proposal development, public-sector sales support, government contracting, or a related role • Experience reviewing complex solicitation documents and managing compliance-driven proposal responses • Experience supporting SLED or public-sector procurement • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate contributors across functional teams • Familiarity with government RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, cooperative purchasing, public bid portals, and formal procurement processes • Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, legal technology, or another technology environment selling to public-sector organizations • Proficiency with Salesforce, proposal management platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications, and content libraries • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret detailed procurement instructions
