Onward also operates Companion Rides, a Door-Through-Door℠ assisted rideshare service with trained Companion Drivers who provide door-through-door support for patients and riders, and builds and manages networks of transportation partners to reduce clinic no-shows, speed discharges, and cut transportation coordination time.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning • Analyze trends, KPIs, and operational data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks • Partner with department leaders on budgets, performance tracking, and actionable improvements • Own and manage AI workflows for end-to-end invoicing and customer billing • Provide invoices and required reporting for grants and specialty programs • Resolve billing issues and improve payment timelines with stakeholders • Manage and optimize provider network payment processes, including disbursements, costs, and contract compliance • Track and reconcile outstanding invoices and payments • Drive month-end and quarter-end reporting processes • Identify financial workflow inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions • Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools • Perform scenario analyses and what-if modeling for pricing, investments, and new opportunities • Prepare board meeting, investor update, and presentation materials • Provide financial insights supporting organizational decisions and company goals • Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to contextualize financial results and projections

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A • Experience managing invoicing or payments within healthcare or transportation sectors highly valued • Experience in high-growth startup environments valued • Expert proficiency in Power BI • Advanced Excel modeling skills • SQL skills • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks • Experience with AI-driven workflow automation • Experience with systems facilitating complex billing and payment operations • Deep understanding of SaaS financial structures and subscription pricing • Familiarity with payment nuances of PACE organizations or healthcare billing is a significant advantage • Firm grasp of GAAP and standard reporting practices • CPA or CFA designation preferred • Experience overseeing reconciliation processes and optimizing payment workflows and billing systems • Ability to distill complex datasets into strategic insights and operational improvements • Ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders • Meticulous attention to financial data and workflow accuracy • Comfort navigating ambiguity and rapid startup environments
