📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity partner to Optiv clients • Design pragmatic, scalable, and defensible security solutions tailored to client environments • Drive generation services and technologies business toward quarterly and annual quota objectives with account teams • Understand clients’ security environments, operations, needs, and risk appetite • Identify security concerns and align them with Optiv strategic solutions and cybersecurity programs • Position Optiv services and technology partners’ products to deliver client value • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities • Qualify leads and partner on scope, proposal management, and deal closure • Participate in sales opportunities across Optiv’s portfolio • Articulate how Optiv’s technology and services meet client stakeholder needs • Monitor industry trends and the security landscape to provide thought leadership and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery on domain materials and consistent client approaches • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and ROI metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders and technology partners • Design complete security programs, gather requirements, select technologies, and coordinate demonstrations and evaluations • Partner with internal Optiv teams to align expectations and support service delivery excellence • Share client feedback to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal activities • Create business proposals and contracts and respond to RFIs/RFPs • Maintain and develop technical capabilities, soft skills, and cybersecurity knowledge • Present and evangelize technology vision at events • Perform additional duties as directed or needed • Travel approximately 25% or as needed

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience • Minimum of five years in an information security role focused on Threat Management • Preferably experience as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • Expertise in Application Security Tools • Expertise in Vulnerability Management • Expertise in Threat Management / Hunting • Expertise in Enterprise Incident Management • Expertise in Forensics / eDiscovery • Expertise in Threat Intelligence Platforms • Expertise in Asset Management • CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications preferred • Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen and ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions • Strong attention to detail when reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and willingness to expand expertise across portfolio domains • Vendor-specific certification focused primarily on the specialty • Ability to travel around 25% or as needed
